Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how Sara Event ("we", "us", "our"), based at Rr. Vaso Pasha, Tirana, Albania, collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit our website saraevent.al or contact us about our event planning services.

For the purposes of Albanian Law No. 124/2024 "On Personal Data Protection," Sara Event acts as the controller of the data it processes through this website.

What Data We Collect

When you fill out our contact form, we only collect the data you voluntarily provide:

• First and last name
• Email address and phone number
• Your possible event date and approximate guest count
• The service(s) you're interested in and your approximate budget
• Any additional information you share in your message
• How you found us (Instagram, Facebook, Google, a friend, etc.)

We do not collect financial data (such as card numbers) through this website, and we do not use tracking or analytics tools that identify individual visitors.

Why We Process Your Data

We process your personal data for the following purposes, on the legal basis indicated:

• To respond to your inquiry and prepare a quote — legal basis: pre-contractual step, at your request.
• To organize and deliver your event, should you choose to work with us — legal basis: performance of a contract.
• To meet legal obligations (e.g. invoicing, bookkeeping) — legal basis: legal obligation.

We do not use your data for marketing purposes without your clearly expressed consent.

How Long We Keep Your Data

Data collected through the contact form is kept for as long as needed to handle your inquiry, typically up to 12 months if no collaboration follows. If you become a client, data related to your event and invoicing is kept in line with the retention periods set by Albanian tax/accounting legislation.

Who We Share Data With

We do not sell or rent your data to any third party. Your data may pass through service providers who help us operate the website, namely:

• FormSubmit.co — the service we use to forward contact form messages to our email. This provider may process data outside Albania; we treat this as an international transfer in accordance with the relevant provisions of Law No. 124/2024.
• Google Maps — to display our location; Google may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

We may also disclose data where legally required to do so by competent Albanian authorities.

Your Rights

Under Law No. 124/2024, you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you (right of access)
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data, where legally possible
• Object to the processing of your data for certain purposes
• Request restriction of processing
• Lodge a complaint with the Commissioner (see Section 11)

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures (such as encrypted HTTPS transmission and access restrictions) to protect your data from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access. No system is 100% secure, but we're committed to responding promptly to any security concern.

Cookies and Google Maps

This website does not use analytics, advertising, or proprietary tracking cookies. The only third-party element that may set cookies is the embedded Google Maps widget on our "Contact Us" page. If we add analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy and display an additional notice/consent option before activating them.

Minors

Our services are aimed at adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
